Economic performance has a major impact on social stability as well as on the geopolitical order. When the economy disappoints for an extended period of time, the political class is the recipient of the electorate's frustrations. If and when the political changes consistently fail to deliver the expected results then the Pandora's box of political and social upheaval opens up.

Security and Defense go beyond the government expenses to address potential threats to civil order or international peace. They are part of much broader national strategies combining intelligence, technology, and investments on military programs.

Social unrest due to economic hardship is on the rise globally and geopolitical ambitions lead to military projections beyond the national borders. In this fast-pace I.T. and media-driven environment we analyze the various threats and the main players' agenda.

First and foremost is there a possibility of a Global Conflict due to the receding hegemony from the US and the multiple conflicts (Ukraine and Near East) already in place that have depleted the West's military capabilities ?

A perfect window of opportunities for China to take Taiwan ?
